While I don't disagree with any particular comments I've read on here, I do feel the need to point out one thing. Human nature is flawed as many of you make pretty clear in your view of our nation's leaders (especially democrats). We've got perverts, sadists, child molesters, criminals, etc in this country, a sad fact, but a fact. It also stands to reason that we have corrupt cops and corrupt individuals in many of our corporate businesses, (Enron anyone?) where there is money and/or power you will find people that abuse it. So it wouldn't surprise me to find out that there are military individuals that abuse their positions and do things that we would never approve of in a non-war situation. Murder is a very relative term, when a cop shoots someone with a gun it is called self defense while if he shoots the same person when that person doesn't present any threat it is called murder. In both cases the result was the same, they killed a human being. In war, killing the "enemy" isn't always a justified action and in that case it would be considered murder. I think there are a few individuals in our military that are guilty of murder, rape, and other unlawful acts. Does that mean that most of the military is like that, of course not. But I hope no one is fooling themselves into believing that no one in the military is capable of murder. If someone says something of that nature about someone in the military, that doesn' t make them a treasonist dog. Even if it turns out that they were misinformed or wrong, that still only makes them mistaken. If they do it again and again, then you probably have a case of calling them out on treason. This country was founded on treason, so be careful when you decide to use that word, because while there are bad kinds of treason, there are obviously good kinds of treason as well. It all just depends what side of the treason you are on.
